Swimming and Picnics at Big Brook Dam
Safe Swimming and a magnificent setting can be found at Big Brook Dam located 5 minutes from town. The dam is surrounded by karri forest and there is a sandy beach area which is great for swimming. BBQ facilities, tables and toilets are there and if you are feeling energetic you can do the 4km walk around the dam. You may even see kangaroos basking on the banks of the dam.
